Safe and affirmative resources for LGBTQ+ Michiganders

Our mission at Cares is to be a quality and accessible neighborhood resource that helps reinforce our strong and resilient Southwest Michigan community. We have services that cover a 10-county area as well as some services that are statewide.

OUR SERVICES

Affirming LGBTQ+ Health and Wellness Services

If you are a sexually active queer person, gaining access to affordable resources is a must. You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get the answers you deserve. At Cares, we make it easy to get your sexual health questions answered and help you get the proper care you need.

Free Prevention Tools!

We offer free condom pick-up and delivery service to any Michigan resident! Quit wasting money at the pharmacy on over-priced tools to prevent the spread of sexually transmittable infections.

HIV/STI Testing

We offer several different ways to get a free HIV and affordable STI test through Cares. We offer in-person testing, at-home self-testing, and attend many queer events around Southwest Michigan, providing on-demand testing.

Living With HIV?

Are you a LGBTQ+ identifying person living with HIV? We can get you connected to one of our allied case managers that will assist you with a range of services like transportation,  insurance help, tobacco cessation, and nutrition courses.
