Rapid HIV Testing
We’re here to help with FREE testing by friendly, knowledgeable staff in a confidential and safe environment. For HIV testing, a tiny amount of blood from a finger-poke is all we need to give you results in 20 minutes. Walk-In appointments available.
STI Testing
We offer three site(throat, rectal, and urine) testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Blood testing for syphillis is also offered. Our testing is fast, discreet, and free. Full STI testing is available by appointment only.
Free Condom Delivery
If you are a Michigan resident, you can fill out our Condom & Lube Shipping Form and in 3-5 business days we will mail you a package of condoms and lube, no questions asked! You must be a Michigan resident to qualify for this service.
HIV Case Management
Managing the complexity of Living With HIV can be difficult. Case managers assist clients with insurance enrollment, medical scheduling and transportation, housing assistance, and referrals ranging from food assistance programs to mental health care.
PrEP Access
PrEP is a newer HIV prevention approach where those not living with HIV use medications to greatly reduce their risk of becoming infected if exposed to HIV. Our team can answer your questions, connect you with local PrEP doctors, and more.

Healthy Living with HIV
One of CARES’ main missions is to maximize the quality of life for those living with HIV. We offer a tobacco cessation program and our signature fitness program called “Veg & Sweat” which features nutritional classes and walking groups.
Transportation
Need help coordinating transportation to and from appointments? We know how stressful it can be without reliable transportation. Contact your case manager to get more information regarding transportation and ride requests.
