Support Groups

Cares offers support groups at both our Kalamazoo and Benton Harbor offices. Meet other people living with HIV.

Transportation

We can help arrange adequate transportation to support groups and medical appointments.

Housing Assistance

Research has shown that safe and stable housing is important to reducing viral loads. Cares offers housing support such as move-in and/or on-going financial assistance.

Insurance Enrollment

We will help get you connected to accessible health insurance and coverage for your medication.

Medical Scheduling

We can help you navigate the difficulties that come with scheduling your medical appointments.

Quitting Tobacco

We have 2 certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists who are also Registered Nurses. They provide a pressure-free program to quit/reduce tobacco use.

Get Undetectable

We will work with you to get aligned with the proper medical resources to stay healthy and reach an undetectable viral load of HIV.

Education

We offer classes and programs that help with disclosing your HIV status with family, friends or potential partners.
